Congratulations to Head Coach, Mark Rose, on winning the Chartered High Performance Coach Award at the UK Coaching Awards on 5th December 2023.
Mark was the first person to go through the Chartered Programme and as such became the first person to the complete Chartered High Performance Coach Status.
As stated by the Chartered Institute, this is an equivalent to Chartered status in other professions such as solicitors, accountants and surveyors and as such is the highest level of recognition for coaching.
The process involved demonstrating an ability to not only perform as a coach but also to strategically plan, develop and grow programs as well as showing evidence of the high level management skills needed to become a Chartered professional.
City of Manchester are proud that our Head Coach has achieved this and that he is the first to ever do this.
Mark stated that ‘it was the support of all the city, MCRactive and City of Manchester that has enabled me to grow and develop in to someone who has been able to demonstrate the skills and experience to achieve this level of recognition’.
